Job Title: Medical Device Manufacturing Technician/Assembler
Job Description
Join our dynamic team in the manufacturing of medical devices, with a focus on catheter assembly under a microscope. This role requires adherence to high standards and precise operating procedures to ensure the integrity and quality of our products.
Responsibilities
Follow and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, Line Clearance, Work Instructions, assembly methods, and product handling methods.
Comply with Good Documentation Practices, current Good Manufacturing Practices, and Safety requirements.
Successfully complete training on production tasks, including understanding travelers/routers and identifying materials.
Use a microscope and production/inspection tools for product builds.
Operate tools and equipment, complete required documentation, and perform equipment set-up and operation.
Conduct in-process inspections to maintain product integrity and quality.
Collaborate with Engineers and Supervisors to ensure product quality and develop process documentation.
Perform inventory counts and other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 1-3 years of regulated manufacturing experience.
Hands-on experience in a manufacturing/production environment or prototyping.
Experience with catheter product manufacturing is a plus.
Familiarity with safety equipment for lab work.
Prior experience with microscope and medical assembly.
Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
Ability to perform in-process inspections to ensure quality of in-process medical devices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in using EFD dispensers and UV curing systems.
Experience working with adhesives, especially different types of Loctite.
Strong communication skills.
Experience with line clearance and SOPs.

Work Environment
This role involves working in both 1st and 2nd shift environments. You will be working in a cleanroom setting, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
