In-Home Companion Aide 

Reports To: Client Coordinator

About This Job

We are looking for caring, reliable people to support clients in their homes. This is a  non-medical role. Your main job is to keep clients safe, comfortable, and happy while helping with simple daily tasks.

What You Will Do

Companionship

• Talk with the client and keep them company
• Provide emotional support and encouragement
• Help them feel safe, respected, and valued

Light Household Help

• Light cleaning (dishes, sweeping, laundry, tidying up)
• Help with small errands (grocery store, prescriptions, etc.)

Safety & Monitoring

• Watch for any changes in the client’s mood or health
• Report concerns to the Client Coordinator right away
• Help keep the home safe and free of fall risks

Transportation (if needed)

• Drive clients to appointments or social activities

Encouragement

• Motivate clients to stay active with hobbies, exercise, or simple activities

What You Need

Experience

• Caregiving experience is helpful, but  not required
• We train you!

Skills

• Good communication
• Patient, kind, and dependable
• Able to follow a care plan
• Basic knowledge of elder care or CPR is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Able to assist with mobility
• Able to do light housekeeping

Requirements

• Must pass a background check
• Drug screening may be required

Where You Will Work

• Inside the client’s home (house, apartment, senior living)
• You may travel between more than one client’s home
