Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate, licensed Cosmetologist or Esthetician to join our team. The ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to grow within the beauty industry. This position is responsible for delivering exceptional services including hair coloring, hair cutting, hair styling, skincare, waxing, facials, makeup, and/or lash extensions, depending on licensure and skill set.
Key Responsibilities
Perform professional skin care, facial treatments, waxing, makeup application, and/or hair services based on client needs and license
Recommend appropriate skincare or beauty products
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with North Carolina State Board regulations
Build and maintain a loyal client base through excellent service and follow-up
Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and continuing education
Assist with front desk duties when needed (scheduling, answering calls)
Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
Qualifications
Valid North Carolina State Board License as a Cosmetologist or Esthetician
Previous experience in a salon/spa environment preferred but not required
Strong communication and customer service skills
Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented
Willingness to participate in ongoing training and education
