The ideal candidate is responsive, empathetic, tech-savvy, and capable of juggling multiple chat conversations at once while maintaining professionalism. Responsibilities Respond promptly and professionally to inbound customer inquiries via live chat. Identify customer needs, provide appropriate solutions, or escalate complex issues to relevant teams. Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions in the CRM or chat system. Manage multiple concurrent chat sessions efficiently and maintain high standards for response quality and speed. Proactively engage website visitors (when applicable), initiate chat invitations, and offer assistance. Gather feedback from customers about recurring issues or friction points and share insights with internal teams to improve processes. Uphold company policies, tone guidelines, and branding in all customer communications. Meet or exceed performance metrics (e.g., response time, resolution rate, customer satisfaction). Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus. Prior experience in customer service, live chat support, or a similar role is preferred but not always required. Excellent written communication skills, with strong grammar, clarity, and empathy. Ability to multitask (handle more than one chat), prioritize, and work under pressure. Familiarity with CRM systems, live chat software, or helpdesk platforms. Strong problem-solving skills, patience, and a customer-first mindset. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings or weekends (if needed).
