Amazon MGM Studios is hiring a Sr. Physical Production Executive to support original film production in the United States. Amazon MGM Studios is the film development and production arm of Amazon.com. Over the past 6 years, we have debuted award-winning and ground-breaking films like Air, Saltburn, American Fiction, Roadhouse, The Boys In The Boat, Challengers, Red One, The Beekeeper and The Accountant 2 just to name a few. The Senior Production Executive will be responsible for overseeing the budgets, schedules, and overall production plans for motion pictures. The position will work closely with internal partners, including Post-Production, VFX, Music, Business Affairs, and Creative Development. Key job responsibilities • \tOversee projects in development, pre-production and production. • \tCollaborate with show producers, line producers, production managers and creative executives and offer assessments on budgets, production plans, and schedules. Includes feedback on production risks and/or options that can impact staying on budget and schedule. • \tWork with internal teams, including post-production, VFX, Music, Business Affairs and creative development to develop production plans (budget and schedule) that adhere to financial parameters. • \tTravel to set when necessary to evaluate work-flow, budgets and potential problems. • \tAnalyze budgets and cost reports. • \tAct as a liaison from producers to the Studio. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 10+ years of producer, production manager or line producer experience - 10+ years of budgeting, scheduling and cost reporting experience - Experience with a variety of digital workflows PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience with local guilds and unions - Experience working on international productions. - Able to recognize an opportunity or need based on industry expertise. - Exceptional and effective verbal and written communication skills. - Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. - Exceptional project management skills. - Experience working with Movie Magic Budgeting and Scheduling. The base pay for this position ranges from $152,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $252,200/year in our highest geographic market.
