Special Education Teachers for 2025-2026 School Year

Southside Chicago school seeks Licensed (LBSI or II) Special Education teachers.

Required Qualifications:

• An active Illinois Special Education license is required for this position. Hold Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) in Special Education LBSI / II).
• Experience working collaboratively in a student-centered environment.
• 1-2 years’ experience a plus. New grads will be considered.
• Credentials to be collected prior to and upon hire.

Responsibilities:

• Teach as part of a department or grade level team as mutually agreed.K-5th grade classrooms avaialb
• Able to implement and support school policies, participate in orientations, meetings (staff and parent) and other conferences/institute days as directed.
• Implement school education programs and philosophy.
• Monday-Friday as per school schedule. Full time (limited part time opportunities available).
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Work Hours:

• Follow school hours Monday-Friday; depending on the building’s hours.
• @35 hours/week.

Salary and Benefits:

• $43/hr for new grad, other salary based upon experience. Weekly pay.
