Job Description

The Capitol Sea Devils are looking for lead site/administrative level coach for the upcoming 2024-25 season at Holton-Arms Pool in Bethesda, MD

Qualified candidates must possess the following:

-Previous USAS or Y coaching.

· ASCA Level 2 certification or higher

· 3-5 years coaching experience for age group and/or senior level swimmers

· Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, and social media

· A background and/or interest in marketing and program development

· Hy-Tek TM/MM experience

· An interest in continuing education for both professional development and athlete/parent seminars

· Enjoy working with swimmers between the ages of 6 and 18

Our team stresses the following three concepts:

· Teaching swim stroke technique as an essential aspect of each practice

· Promotion of positive values, respect, and sportsmanship within the pool and community

· Supporting a philosophy of a gradual increase in practice time and commitment for athlete development

Our programs are offered between 5-8:30PM weeknights and 8-10AM Saturday mornings. Interested individuals are asked to submit a resume including coaching and/or teaching experience, swimming experience, and references.

Pay will be based on experience and willingness/ability to take on non-coaching responsibilities. Base salary will be supplemented by incentive markers and possible yearly Winter and Spring bonuses based on success of the club.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $30,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 11 – 20 per week
