Position Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)\nLocation: 1380 Tulip Street, Longmont, CO 80501, United States\nFacility Type: Short-Term Acute Care / Combined Cath & IR Lab\n\nHiring Process\n\nStep 1: Profile Review with MedSol Clinical\n\nStep 2: Interview with Unit Manager at the facility\n\nRadius: 60 miles (driver’s license must be submitted)\n\nOrientation: Clinicians must be in-state during orientation week, even if first-day modules are remote\n\nUnit Details\n\nDepartment: Cath Lab (combined with Interventional Radiology)\n\nNumber of Suites/Labs: 2\n\nAverage Cases per Day: 4 (mix of Cath and IR)\n\nCharting System: Epic\n\nEquipment: MacLab, Siemens\n\nScrub Color: Hospital-provided blues\n\nPatient Population & Case Types\n\nCommon Diagnoses: STEMI, NSTEMI, pacemaker placements, and interventional radiology procedures\n\nTypical Duties:\n\nCirculate and monitor cases\n\nPre- and post-procedure care\n\nConduct pre- and post-procedure patient calls\n\nRequirements\n\nRequired Certifications: BLS, ACLS\n\nPreferred: IR experience or willingness to learn\n\nRequired Skills:\n\nCath Lab experience is a must\n\nStrong hemodynamic monitoring and critical care skills\n\nSchedule & Call Requirements\n\nShifts: Four 9-hour shifts per week\n\nWeeknight Call: ~10 nights per month\n\nWeekend Call: Every 3rd weekend (Friday–Sunday)\n\nHoliday Call: Required – shared evenly among staff (1 major summer & 1 major winter holiday)\n\nCall Response Time: 30 minutes\n\nFloating: None to other facilities\n\nTeam Structure\n\nManager: Tara Horne\n\nNurse Coordinator: John Crane\n\nSupport Staff: Cath Lab Technologists\n\nCardiologist Coverage: In-house during the day; on-call overnight\n\nOrientation\n\nConducted over several days during the week following CSH orientation\n\nIncludes department-specific training and procedural orientation\n\nAdditional Notes\n\nClinicians must be ready to participate in call rotations and handle a blend of Cath and IR procedures.\n\nTeam culture emphasizes collaboration, adaptability, and strong procedural independence.
