WHO WE ARE

At Mizzen+Main, we believe what we wear to work reflects what we think of work. And we think work is fun. We think it's a place of joy, collaboration, discipline, laughter, the ups and downs, and everything in between all of those things. That's why we make clothes that make people comfortable. We make clothes that let people breathe and stretch and move and think. We make clothes that let them work. And we have a good time doing it.

Founded in 2012 with the belief that there is a better way, Mizzen+Main is a premium men's brand with product rooted in performance fabrics and tailored silhouettes. Mizzen+Main is a multi-channel brand, comprised of our Ecommerce site, Retail Stores, and Wholesale Partners across the US, with our headquarters in Dallas, Texas. Our Values are simple and guide everything we do: We Have Commitments, We Think Big, We Act as Owners, We're People Too, and We Never Settle.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Mizzen+Main is looking for a creative and strategic Visual Merchandising Manager to lead the visual identity of our brand. This is a brand new role and the first ever of its kind for the brand. In this capacity, you will oversee the entire retail fleet and serve as an integral part of scaling and elevating our physical stores.

This position requires a leader who can create compelling window and in-store displays that align with our brand's aesthetics while driving sales and enhancing the customer's journey. You will maintain highly involved cross-functional ties with the product and marketing teams and will be in charge of developing the comprehensive visual strategy for both existing locations and upcoming physical stores as we grow our fleet.

Success in this role requires the ability to effectively train field teams on visual standards and communicate strategic initiatives with clarity across both HQ and the retail fleet. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of trends, customer behavior, and retail environments. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic company where innovation, quality, and exceptional customer experiences are at the heart of everything we do.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
  • Lead the development of seasonal visual merchandising strategies that reflect the Mizzen+Main brand and its storytelling. Ensure consistent and high-quality execution across all retail locations, potentially including multi-brand partners.
  • Collaborate closely with our store design partners to create layouts that maximize product visibility and customer flow. Design seasonal displays that draw attention, encourage engagement, and boost sales.
  • Mentor and inspire a team of store leaders. Provide direction and training to maintain high standards of visual presentation across all stores.
  • Partner with our product, planning, and marketing teams to ensure visual displays align with the latest collections, promotions, and brand campaigns.
  • Establish clear visual merchandising standards and guidelines for all store teams to follow. Regularly audit stores and provide feedback to ensure adherence and continuously improve the in-store experience.
  • Stay current with fashion, retail, and visual merchandising trends, particularly within the performance menswear space. Use this knowledge to create innovative and trend-forward displays.
  • Oversee the visual merchandising budget, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and within budget while maintaining high-quality results.
  • Analyze sales data and store feedback to measure the effectiveness of visual merchandising strategies. Use insights to optimize performance and customer engagement.
  • Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • A minimum of 8 years in visual merchandising, retail management, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Experience in fashion retail, particularly in menswear or similar product categories, is strongly preferred.
  • A strong creative and aesthetic sensibility with the ability to translate brand vision into compelling visual concepts. You should have excellent leadership and team management skills, a strong understanding of retail sales, and proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Please note that this role is based in Dallas, TX and may require travel up to 30% of the time.
